Like it says, I am making some visible changes. Most notably, I have taken the site down a notch or three in terms of ‘likeability’ for the time being. Mostly because it is late and I dont want to fix it now. But rest assured, dear reader, that you will be sated at some point in the near future. How near? You probably wont be dead. Otherwise, why would you care? Kind of a crappy thing to spend your afterlife worrying about, if you ask me.

Apparently Bob Dylan has just put out a new Christmas album, and it has set a new bar for BOTH ‘bad ideas’ and ‘unintentional comedy’. Nothing says Christmas like having someone who sounds like they just ate a bag of glass and followed that with some hot asphalt shooters take on Hark The Herald Angels Sing. Seriously, if you need help convincing children that there is no Santa, just buy them this cd as a present. It may also help convince them that there is no god. Gerard Butler SNL Sketches

Funny stuff from tonight’s Gerard Butler broadcast. These were my two favorite sketches, and they are probably the two best sketches of any of the 4 shows that have happened this year so far, and surprisingly, one of them is a “Keenan” sketch. It’s been a bad year for SNL, and a bad career for Keenan Thompson, but maybe things are picking up.

Pauly Shore’s ADOPTED

If I am the only one who thinks this looks hilarious, then sue me. This is a new “mockumentary” about Pauly Shore (yes, from Encino Man) going to Africa to “adopt” a child in 2008, following in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie and Madonna. There has been some debate on the internets as to whether or not this film is “going too far” or is “racist”, but to put that talk to bed, the film is about to open in 50 screens IN AFRICA, because they want to watch it. If they can love it, so can we.

Now, this movie isn’t QUITE as out-there as Bruno looks to be, but I think it will be good. Word on the street is that Comedy Central is going to snap up the rights to it, so hopefully we can see a full cut sometime in the near future. In the meantime, laugh at this trailer.
